The 6-point configuration uses 2-inch lap and shoulder straps with pull-down lap belts, providing the driver restraint geometry needed for serious wheel-to-wheel competition. Integrated anti-submarine belts prevent forward sliding under heavy braking, keeping the driver correctly positioned in the seat through the full range of forces encountered on track. The aircraft-quality quick-release buckle at the center allows fast, clean release when needed — a critical consideration in endurance racing where driver changes need to happen efficiently and emergency egress may be required.
